Healthy Fishing on the Duwamish:
a collection of video stills

Strong photography was an important part of the Healthy Fishing on the Duwamish project: I emphasized the industrial and natural juxtaposition that represents the greater Duwamish River area through a series of aerial and wide-angle shots. As fishers caught fish, I moved to human scale, focusing on portraits and detail shots where needed. The cooking series focused on the vibrancy and detail of the fresh ingredients used to create each recipe. We utilized these video stills in a variety of secondary materials such as recipe cards, video title cards, the Duwamish healthy fishing map, and others, providing added value to the cost of production.
